Once again the club are providing marshals for a zone in the marathon. The organisers give a donation to the club for every person we supply and that helps us to keep our subscriptions down.
This year our zone is likely to be on the two way section of the course from the end of Brooklands Road to Timperley. This means that you will get to see the runners from the club twice (~10 and ~15 miles) which will give them a much needed boost. It also means that you will not need to be there as early as for some of the zones and you should be finished ealier than we have in the past.
Sally Gubbins is leading the marshals this time so if you have any questions please ask her. The organiser is having a meeting on Tue 14th of March to confirm the details.
